“Precise Pangolin” is pretty cool, I’ll admit. But I’m afraid that I’ll always have to carry a little cheat sheet with the name on – just in case somebody would ask me. For that reason I sure would have preferred something like “Prancing Pony”, even though it doesn’t sleep curled up into a ball. Well, let’s have a ball then, if we must.

When I saw unity in 10.04 for the first time I was all ‘yuck’.

Now 11.10 is on the street and unity has really matured a lot. It still hast some quirks and the usability still needs polish, but now it really starts to have potential.

I’m looking forward to 12.04! Linux has a bright future.
